Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedding Peach is an anime and manga series first created in the vintage year of 1995. The television series ran for fifty-one episodes with a four-episode OAV (Wedding Peach DX) released after the conclusion of the main story. The manga series was collected in six volumes (with a seventh, "special" volume also released.) Wedding Peach tells the story of Hanasaki Momoko, a twelve-year old girl who lives a fairly standard life. She's a member of the journalism club at school, lives happily with her father and has a screaming great crush on the captain of the school soccer team. Everything changes however, when a devil suddenly attacks Momoko and the truth of her nature is revealed. Momoko is actually the love angel Wedding Peach whose purpose is to protect love from the devils who wish to see it eradicated. Along the way Peach gains support from other angels and must fight many battles in order to see love preserved for all mankind.

Angel Salvia is the fourth love angel introduced in Wedding Peach. She makes her first appearance in episode thirty-five ("The Fourth Love Angel") of the anime and volume five of the manga. In the anime, Salvia is a pure love angel (one who has come directly from the Tenshi-kai) living under the assumed identity of private school student, Ohara Scarlet. In the manga she is a reincarnation of the original Angel Salvia (who died during the Wedding Wars.) In both versions of the series, Salvia is a willful girl with a fiery temper and an incredible array of angelic powers at her disposal.

Due to traumas Salvia suffered in the past, she has evolved into a rather obstinate girl with an attitude that is both self-serving and aggressive. It is through the kindness of Momoko, Yuri and Hinagiku that Salvia begins to re-evaluate her manner and position. Salvia owns the fourth Saint Something item, the Saint Something New- an elaborate tiara (see above image.) Her favourite hobby is horse riding.
